MY REVIEW OF THOMAS - MY SON BEN IS AGED 6 AND MUST HAVE EVERY VIDEO AND DVD GOING OF THOMAS THE TANK, HE KNOWS EVERY ONE OFF BY HEART, AND HIS COLLECTION IS GROWING. HE LOVES ALL THE STORIES WHETHER IT BE ON DVD OR VIDEO. HE STARTED GETTING INTO THOMAS AT THE AGE OF 2 AND FOUR YEARS LATER IS STILL LOVING IT...THOMAS ALWAYS COMES FIRST NO MATTER WHAT YOU BUY HIM!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VIDEO TO ANY PERSON WHETHER THEY ARE YOUNG OR OLD!!!
is this really the best of Thomas!? - it woz about time a best of was released but this is a very poor collection! Firstly, the episodes are in no order, meaning that stories from different series s are all mixed up. However, the stories on this video are are of mixed quality, and i feel that most of the best episodes have been left out. Wheras there are some very good stories on here, i wouldnt say all of them are regarded as the best ones! What about classics such as THE FLYING KIPPER OLD IRON and THOMAS AND THE MISSING XMAS TREE This collection wasnt given enough care or consideration. Lets hope another best of is released in 2004, when the last Thomas series is made!
Good - but could have been even better - While this video is adored by our train-loving son Ben, aged 2, it makes slightly irritating viewing for any accompanying adults or older children. It seems as if no attempt was made by the compilers to place the episodes in any logical order. Thus two episodes which follow directly on from one another chronologically are actually placed (in the wrong order) at opposite ends of the tape.A little more thought would have made a really excellent job.
Very enjoyable - Ross is 3 years old and loves Thomas The Tank Engine and all his favourite episodes were on this video. We have had it for a week now and I think we have watched it about 50 times already!!
